Welcome to our Site. Repairers of the Breach is a community of believers that believe that YHVH is the One true G-d. We believe in adhering to, and obeying the instructions of our G-d, which include the commandments given to us in His Word (Torah, Prophets, and Writings) and the instructions given by our Messiah, Yeshua of Nazareth which include praying for the sick.

Our goal is to establish a community of believers in Portland, Oregon who function and act like the First Century believers did. They were Torah observant, obedient to the death, spirit filled believers in Messiah Yeshua. This means that we have a lot of work to do.

Yeshua said that he would build his congregation and the gates of hell would not prevail against them (Matthew 16:18). This is going to happen. It will require work, diligence, and means we will have to be in the trenches. Groups of people willing to, and not afraid of hard work will have to start working together to get this done. (You won't work any harder spiritually then you do physically.) This is how the modern nation of Israel was built. And, this is how Nehemiah re-built Jerusalem with others of Israel, restoring the breaches in the walls of the ancient city (Nehemiah 1:1-13:31) . In Nehemiah 4:6 we read that they "...built the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work." Today we have the same type of work before us. This is not for the faint of heart!

Repairing breaches in people's lives, faith and body has to take place! Breaches occur in people's lives due to disobedience, learning false teaching that nullifies the Word of G-d, exposure to and living in the world . These breaches allow room for the enemy in our lives. The body of Messiah needs to be restored, repaired, and rebuilt.

It is time that the Body of Messiah returned to functioning like the community (kahal) the first believers in Messiah established. This has not been seen in around 2000 years, and is not something the enemy of our faith wants to see again. Even in Nehemiah's day the enemy tried to stop him when the walls began to be rebuilt (Nehemiah 4:15). We have a fight on our hands if we want to return to the type of pure faith, community, and service of G-d that YHVH, through Yeshua and his disciples established!

"...The reason the son of G-d was made manifest was to destroy the works of the enemy." - I John 3:8

It is time that people were educated in fighting against the attacks of the enemy rather than fighting against each other. When the walls of Jerusalem were rebuilt in Nehemiah's day half of his servants helped in the work, and the other half stood by with weapons watching for the enemy. All the people, whether one was helping to construct the wall or carrying burdens, had one hand on their work, and the other hand on a weapon, or a sword "girded by his side" (Nehemiah 4:16-18). They didn't stand by unarmed, and they supported each other. They didn't fight against each other. They didn't collect into little offended groups but instead gathered together. They had a mind to work! The body of Messiah needs to get this kind of attitude, wake up! and put their minds to the task of building the kahal. We are to protect each other while we are working. When the body of Messiah stops thinking about self, and focuses on service and commitment to our G-d, and to each other we won't be able to be stopped. When leaders stop fighting amongst each other, being jealous (envy is a sin) and suspicious of each other the people will follow.

"The weapons of our warfare are not carnal (pertaining to flesh/body) but mighty through
G-d to the pulling down of strongholds, casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself
against the knowledge of G-d, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Messiah." - II Co 10:4

WE ARE ON FIRE FOR OUR G-D!!!

It is time that we grew up and put away childish things. Becoming responsible for the commandments will mature you as a believer both in spirit and in faith. No one ever matures until they are given responsibility.

It is time that believers learned to walk in the Spirit of their G-d. This means that we must learn the Torah and know the Word of G-d, and be filled with the Ru'ach ha'Kodesh. The Ruach ha'Kodesh (the Holy Spirit) will NEVER speak against the Torah, Nevim (Prophets), and Ketuvim (Writings); TaNaKh.

We are 100% dedicated to helping and establishing believers in the Torah and walking in the Spirit. On this site there are many audio teachings to help you on your journey. Repairers Of The Breach Leadership

Yosef ben Horin has been a spirit filled believer for over 30 years. He has avidly pursued serving His Creator during these 30 years and has been studying Torah for over ten years. Four and a half years ago he began teaching the Torah with the help of his wife Sarah. Yosef's walk with YHVH began over 30 years ago when he had a dramatic experience much like that of Shaul (Paul) the apostle. During his walk Yosef has seen first hand, many numerous miracles such as raising of the dead, healing the sick, and deliverance of many people. He believes that in order to have the results the First Century Believers had, we have to do what they did. He believes the words of our Messiah, Yeshua, "But the hour cometh and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship in Spirit and in Truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him." Sarah and Yosef have been married for five and a half years. Sarah is a Jewish believer who was raised keeping and observing the Torah. She lived in Israel as a teenager, and teaches Hebrew to anyone interested. She also makes handmade tzitzit in the karaite style, sephardic and ashekenazic and is a labor Doula.
